A name or location entered in a search box is transmitted directly to the outside company that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not keep or log those search terms on our systems.

The site explains how to reach custodians of Nueces County information, including the Sheriff's Office, District Clerk, Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Service, and Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor data is not compiled into a consumer report or a record about another person.

Outside companies power the search boxes. A partner's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices govern information submitted to its tool, and we do not control those terms. Review that policy before running a search.

Links may lead to Nueces County offices, Texas agencies, courts, legal resources, or outside search tools. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy rules govern the visit. Those rules should be reviewed before personal information is submitted.
